The SeaProtean Pen is an affordable submersible fish pen designed for sites that experience occasional weather events, such as strong storms or surface currents. Made from high-density polyethylene, it features a unique three-stage buoyancy chamber for smooth, steady movement when raising and lowering. This prevents fish stocks from experiencing barotrauma and gives operators the precision needed to find the ideal thermocline to maximize fish health.
Improves operations
The SeaProtean pen is designed so a single operator can raise or lower it simply by opening a valve, which improves farm efficiency. The pen also reduces operational costs with its unique, integrated mortality recovery system, an optional feature that reduces the need for divers.
